Hello Everyone!
This last week on the base has been pretty normal. We have
just had class and work duties. However, God is always showing up here. Whether
that’s through worship, intercession, or just mealtime conversations. I find
myself growing more and more in love with Him everyday. I am starting to see
how God has changed me through my attitude towards others and my outlook on
this whole experience.
I find it so peaceful here and easy to be with God. As I
speak, two of my roomies, Lauren and Sarah, are having a worship session on the
couch right next to me. It’s hard not to be in constant awe and worship of God
and His creation here since our base is in a rural jungle area. I go to bed
every night to the sound of crickets or thunder. Thailand is so incredibly
beautiful. Yet it’s so different, which was hard for me at first, but I find
myself adjusting and feeling more comfortable calling this place home and
calling my classmates and the staff family.
This last Saturday we had a large barbeque at the base with
all of the YWAM Chiang Mai staff. It was awesome getting to know a lot of the
staff that live in town and being able to pig out on amazing American food like
chicken and potato salad. I feel so blessed to be part of this community and it
was great participating in their monthly update meeting. Through the meeting I
found out that a large revival is happening in Northern Thailand and I am so
excited to be apart of it! Everyday I get more and more eager for our two-month
outreach at the end of our DTS. I know God is going to do amazing things!
I want to thank all of you for your prayers and support.
Please continue to pray for energy this next week, and know that I am always
praying for all of you back home!
Blessings,
Hanna
